My obstacles show me how strong I am.

They’ve taught me to stop saying what I cannot do.

My obstacles have proven me wrong so many times.

When they seemed to be blocking only my view.

Never noticing my own reflection.

There were times I couldn’t see my way through.

Not realizing my own value and worth.

I wanted to put all of the blame on you.

My obstacles they come and they go.

My obstacles they will not flee.

My obstacles are my own insecurities.

For my obstacles are only me.
