The days of my being the nice, kind, compassionate, caring and understanding person are over. I let a lot of stuff slide. I give people the benefit of the doubt when it’s obvious that I shouldn’t. Only for the true revealing of the narcissistic personality to expose itself.

I’ve allowed less than my expectations only to keep the peace in certain situations. Your actions speaks so much louder than words. But yet I still can’t see or hear them.
I don’t ask for much. But I tend to give too much. To much of my time, my efforts, my love, my talents and my energy.

As Vicki Winans sings…
“I’ve been lied on, cheated, talked about, mistreated, I’ve been used, scorned, talked about sore as bone.
I’ve been up, down, almost to the ground.
But long as I got King Jesus, I don’t need nobody else”.

That’s it..Period!! I don’t need anyone else but God and Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I’ve learned the importance of having healthy boundaries. I’ve learned the importance of having healthy relationships. I’ve learned that you don’t have to keep excepting the same behavior from people no matter if they are your friends, family, spouse or significant other.

If your decision to have boundaries and to no longer except half ass friendships or relationships pushes people away. Then please know that they were never committed from the start.
No I’m not mad, bitter, hurt or angry. On the contrary I am the happiest I have been in months. I’m just speaking my truth based on my own experiences and the experiences of others who have shared their stories with me.
